Implementation of cooperation plan in 2023 between Gattaca Law Firm and Vietnam Association of People's Credit Funds
On March 6, 2023, at the headquarters of the Vietnam Association of People's Credit Funds (VAPCF), Gattaca Law Firm (Gattaca Law) had a meeting with VAPCF to evaluate the results of cooperation in 2022 and develop a cooperation plan for 2023. On the VAPCF side, there was the presence of Mr. Nguyen Duc Dung - General Secretary of the Association, Dr. Nguyen Thi Kim Thanh - Deputy General Secretary of the Association, and specialists in charge; on Gattaca Law's side, there was the Director of Gattaca Law – Doctor-Lawyer Nguyen Thanh Nam and experts, assistant lawyers of the Company.
Discussing the results of cooperation in 2022, the two parties recognized the results achieved in 2022 with many diverse and rich activities such as co-organizing conferences and seminars; participate in training and training; In particular, an online Q&A channel has been built on VAPCF's website to provide legal advice and support to members of the Association. However, besides the results achieved, the cooperation still has limitations and shortcomings that need to be overcome soon to further promote the strengths of each party.
To overcome the above limitations and shortcomings, Mr. Nguyen Duc Dung - General Secretary of the Association said that there is no need to implement spread cooperation but need to focus on several core activities, especially coordination training for Association members to fully understand and apply the provisions of specific laws, bringing tangible results to members. Dr. Nguyen Thi Kim Thanh - Deputy General Secretary of the Association also gave many candid and insightful comments on limitations in the process of implementing cooperation activities, and at the same time offering many practical solutions such as survey teams in each locality, grasping the thoughts and aspirations of the people's credit fund system in each locality for appropriate legal support and advice.
Doctor-Lawyer Nguyen Thanh Nam - Director of Gattaca Law thanked the goodwill and suggestions of the VAPCF Board of Directors and proposed a specific and practical cooperation plan in 2023, focusing on the following areas: propaganda and dissemination, legal advice; organizing training courses; coordinating and commenting on draft legal documents related to the Cooperative Bank and people's credit funds, and protecting the interests of members in civil, criminal, and commercial cases.
